Afflatus Earplug Father (Green)

First of all, I didn't even know things like this existed. I'm a light sleeper- it usually takes me hours to fall asleep because my boyfriend snores and our neighbors below us are very loud, plus they have a new baby. I would bury my head under a mountain of pillows and I was going crazy. I checked out what amazon might have-I didn't want the little foam earplugs (like you wear at a concert or in a woodshop) because I knew they would fall out. I'm a side-sleeper, have small ears, PLUS a tragus and rook piercing; I was skeptical something would not only fit but be comfortable. These work PERFECTLY! They are soft, snug, comfortable, and don't fall out. I've been sleeping SO MUCH BETTER. They are not 100% noise canceling, ( I can hear myself talk a little but that's about it), but I no longer hear my boyfriend snoring, or the loud neighbors, or the street. I WISH I GOT THESE SOONER.

It was the perfect amount of noise cancellation for sleeping. I did not wake up to hear my husband snoring at all and the biggest thing is they didn’t fall out of my ears. I am a side sleeper in the foam earplugs never seem to stay in my ears throughout the night and I always wake up to my husband snoring. This is the first night in a long time but I didn’t wake up

I have little ears and I’m taking a shop class. I needed good ear plugs for when I’m in class. I’ve tried several other kinds and they didn’t work for my little ears.The foam ones either squish right back out or won’t go in at all in the first place. Noise cancelling is about a 3/5, comfort 1/5.Cheaper silicone ones get warped, don’t fit right, and feel like they have cheap plastic in them that I don’t feel entirely comfortable shoving in my ear holes. Noise cancelling is about a 1/5, comfort 0/5.So when I say I loved this, they seem to be the perfect shape for my ears, I really mean it! They actually fill the space around my ear canal so they really can cancel noise. There’s a silicone piece that runs along my ear fold that makes the ear plugs feel secure and comfortable all day long, if needed.Noise cancelling - 5/5, comfort 5/5Perfect, exactly what I wanted.Was impressed with packaging they came in also. I got a bright color so I won’t lose them

They don’t completely cancel out all noise, but it cancels out the snoring and normal talking in his sleepthat my husband does. I may learn how to read lips because I can’t hear the TV, but that’s a good thing. They are not really easy to fit in my ears. One pair is too small and I guess the other one must be a wee bit too big. I use the bigger pair tho and like I said it does a good job for me. I can hear him if he needs me but I have to take them out unless he speaks above normal tone. I hope this helps the spouse of a snorer or a sleep talker.

I am a light sleeper with problems falling asleep if there is sound - unfortunately I live in a condo with a neighbor who decided a dolby speaker on my bedroom wall would be a grand idea....fast forward to ordering these plugs. They fit into the ear easily and comfortably. I wore them for several nights in a row now and even though I sleep on my side, they remain comfortable throughout the night and do not fall out of the ear. They still let me hear my alarm in the morning to wake up but the low bass noise coming from next door is cancelled out. Perfect!

I don't sleep well. I get 5-6hrs of sleep and wake up multiple times in that duration. I wake up to every sound and my husband snores like a hibernating grizzly bear with a deviated septum! I have actually covered his face with a pillow(I didn't hold it down 😒) in frustration. My husband has even had to sleep on the couch to let me get some decent rest. I have tried a few different ear plugs- even the silicone putty. But nothing was helpful. I even resorted to wearing bluetooth ear buds - which where ok when I was sleeping on my back, but very uncomfortable if I turned to my side. Plus they would always fall out at some point. Also, I got a severe double ear infection and have had to make multiple trips to urgent care to have my ears flushed due to blockage.So when I found these, I was skeptical about trying them, but decided to give them a shot. So far, I'm pleasantly surprised! They are very comfortable and easy to put in. I appreciate that you get two sizes. My ears are small, so fit is very important. These do not completely cancel out noise. Which as a mother with a small child, I need to hear. Yet, they really help to reduce the amount of noise that could disturb your sleep. I also like that they don't go to far into my ear canal. I have been using them for almost a week and I have noticed I am sleeping much better! I haven't been waking up to my husband's horrendous snoring!I would definitely recommend giving these a try if you have trouble sleeping due noise. I also recommend wearing a sleep mask to give total darkness. The ones that look kinda like mini bras are the best! No pressure on your eyes at all.So now, I take 1/2 of 25mg hydroxyzene (helps me to relax and be less anxious),10 mg of melatonin, put in my new earplugs and put on my sleep mask and I'm out!

I'm soooo happy with these earplugs...I purchased them for sleeping and they're exactly what I wanted. I was previously using those plugs that you have to pinch and squeeze and then stuff them deep into your ears and wait for them to expand so they don't fall out, and it was such a pain because they took forever to settle and then sometimes I would have to do it all over again if they didn't expand correctly which is not fun when you're trying to go to sleep....But these new Afflatus plugs go in so quickly & easily, they stay perfectly in place and they block out all the major noise to allow me a good sleep, but I can still hear my alarm go off in the morning. I HIGHLY recommend these plugs if you're looking for ones to help you sleep. Also I love that they include a smaller set and then a larger set for different ear sizes. These are awesome!
