Bent on arrival
This is a nice tool for pressing in hems; I’m also using it to press seam allowances for a pocket prior to top stitching it in place. For usefulness, I’d give it four stars. However, it was shipped in an envelope without cardboard, so it was bent when I got it. The bend does not prevent use of the tool, so I’m not returning it, one star for not being careful in packaging for shipment.

I purchased the Dritz Ezy- Hem Gauge and it has made hemming a breeze!
Dritz Ezy- Hem Gauge! It has saved me so much time and energy when hemming my jeans. It's precise and easy to use, and it's made hemming my pants a breeze. If you're looking for an easy way to hem your jeans or other garments, it takes all the guesswork out of hemming! I can now hem my own projects with confidence knowing that my hems are even and perfectly finished each time. This lightweight, easy-to-use device is perfect for any hemming project. It's simple enough to use that even a beginner can achieve professional-looking results. I strongly recommend this product to anyone looking to make their hems look great with minimal effort!

A great tool, but there is something missing....
Good size...approximately 8 1/2 inches on the longest side; 4 3/4 on the short side. Has metric on one size and inches on the other. The measurements appear to be slightly engraved into the metal with crisp black ink markings. So far, have only used this for straight and not curved hems.Pros: has ruler on long and short side. Convenient lines to width of the gauge (meaning there is a line across the width of the gauge) markings for 1/2 inch, 1/4 inch and 5/8 inch on the short side. 1/2 inch only on the long side. Metal so you can iron directly on the fabric and hem gauge. Easy to see numbers and markings.Cons: (and the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5) Only the short side has line across the width of the gauge marking 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch and 5/8 inches. Which means every 4 inches you have to move the hem gauge. The long side has a line across the width of the gauge marking 1/2 inches, but not 1/4 or 5/8 inches. I took a permanent marker and drew a straight line across the long side to mark 1/4 inch hem. It held up to the steam iron for at least one session. Will see if the permanent marker holds up. This is the only drawback to this otherwise very useful hem gauge. Have no idea why the 1/4 inch and 5/8 inch marking was not included across the long side.

Stands the test of time
I’ve used one of these in my workshop for many many years, but it went missing during a recent move. I rapidly realised I needed to replace it, I felt like I’d lost an appendage, not quite my right arm, but maybe a finger! It get used in multiple ways and not just for turning up precise hems. This is one of those tools that you only understand how useful it is when you have one (or have lost it 🙍🏻♀️!) whilst on the hunt to replace mine I discovered there is a larger version, aimed at Curtain making, but I’m sure it would be just as versitile and I intend to buy that as well

Sturdy & exactly as described.
I'm a Dritz brand fan to begin with. This hem guide is sturdy, and cuts my marking time way down. It's a great addition for any sewing room (or sewing stash).

Accuracy is perfect.
This little gadget is quite useful making baby blankets. The gems are straight and not crooked. It helped make my projects look professional.

Only 1 small problem
Perfect for measuring hems on clothing, quilting, etc. Works great however, if you are ironing on it for a long time it can get hot to touch. Just take a short break.

Arrived bent up
Arrived bent up, they shipped it in a plastic envelope without any protection. The gauge is a thin metal

Super Teil
Tolles Teil aus Edelstahl und daher sehr stabil. Ich verwende es sowohl zum Markieren als auch mit meinem Rollschneider. Klappt prima. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Markierung ist in Zoll, nicht in mm.

No more burnt fingers
A great product for doing hems. I burnt my fingers steaming my seams and Ezy Hem should eliminate this problem. The only down side was it arrived dented. It is only small and will not affect the use but annoying. I could return but I have to consider how many times I will be burnt before a replacement arrives.

hem gauge
Sorry, but this product came all bent as if it were folded in half and it is impossible to get it to lay flat. I will use it of course, but not really happy.
