My butt looked great before. The shorts make it look even better. What more could I ask for? I'm lazy and hate putting on real pants, with these I can go to the store in pajama comfort, but while actually wearing real clothes. They almost make me look sporty when paired with a crop tank top. I am, in fact, not sporty. Unless binge-watching Supernatural is a sport now. I'm like, 145 lbs 5'6, and usually wear a medium shirt but large bottoms, because, as I said, my butt is bangin'. The large fits perfect. I like that they're higher cut, looks good on me. Whatever my kibbe type is, isn't made for low cut. Think I'm SD. Maybe a tall R. Don't be mistaken, though, the high cut does not hold you in or hide bloat or anything, I know some people are looking for that, and these are not jeans or spanx. I've thrown them in the wash with my boyfriends jeans, thrown them in the dryer, they come out fine, even though the fabric is nice and soft instead of rugged. It's not super thin fabric, but not super thick either. Thicker than a standard cotton t-shirt. Thicker than I expected for the price. Stretchy. No pockets, but does any of our stuff have pockets these days? I definitely love them, been wearing the crap out of them.

I’ve owned these shorts for about three weeks. I love them! They’re really cute! They remind me of high school in the late 80s. They’re actually quite comfortable. You’re able to work out in them without a problem. They’re short, but for leisurely activities like the Gym they’re great!

I have a weirdly comical hourglass figure. Anything that isn't hiiiiigh-waisted (and I mean at or above the belly button because I apparently have the hourglass of a 6' model on a 5'5" body, somehow...I did say "comical" remember?!?) gives me überwedgie, front and back, when it slides up my hips to my waist. Which is every time I get up from a seared position or walk around. Very uncomfortable, not to mention everything becomes "booty" (shorts). By sizing up two sizes, these shorts are quite loose - they did slightly shrink when laundered the first time - and two sizes up afforded me a little more length in the waist area, so they don't ride up into my rear and give me booty shorts. VERY comfortable. Laundered nicely except for the slight shrinkage (I'm so glad I sized up two sizes and not just one).If you're much younger than me - I've had the 25th anniversary of my 25th birthday 🙃 - and you have a high, round 🍑 posterior that you actually embrace showing off - BUY YOUR SIZE. The shrinkage likely won't be enough to be an issue. If you're just buying these for around the house, sleeping, maybe buy one size up. That'll give enough extra for the comfort you're likely seeking. If your a girl of a certain age, like me, and want 'around the house without having to change if I must run a last second errand', you may consider two sizes up. Be aware, though, that there is no drawstring at the waist, so a really loose waist stays really loose, can't be customized by tightening. This doesn't bother me but I'm aware I'm probably the exception and not the rule.

I bought these shorts for a 'camp' theme outfit. They fit perfect and are super comfy, but after an hour of wearing the black pair, the sides completely ripped down the seems. Super cheap material and not worth it.

I've never owned "cheerleader shorts" before but always wanted a pair. I'm used to baggy, floppy, drawstring athletic shorts, so it took me a few minutes to learn how to wear these and get used to a more fitted feel.I'm pretty straight through the hips (about 41"- 43") and thighs, with a flat butt; the XL fit perfectly and true to size as advertised. The legs were a bit tight (maybe "fitted" is the correct term), and I don't have thick thighs. I'm basically boy-shaped, so for women with actual curves in the right places, maybe go up a size. That's what I plan to do if/when I buy more, but mostly because I'm used to roomy shorts.The white piping along the edges really makes them look peppy and fun. If only they had pockets, they'd be absolutely perfect.
