Fun to use
Love this. It’s big and powerful. I’ve made milkshakes, margaritas and salsa so far

Good at getting the job done. It is extremely loud though lol

This works great!
I used to own a $500 blender from Vitamix and it was great. I loved it and did not mind the price tag. While this blender is not at the level of Vitamix, it does what I want it to do, and for less than $100, you can't beat that. I even bought a second one for way less (openbox).

What a beast!
I am the person that always went for the more expensive brands but after a move I needed a new blender and read about this one. Forget all the big names and the big $$$! This is a beast that handles icecubes and use for smoothies, sauces, frappechino's etc. It can walk on the highest setting but a silicone mat resoves that problem! Absolutely love it!

The power control knob broke the second time I used it.
The power is great but there is a cheapness about the blender. And I can change the power now because the knob broke and I am a careful gentle person. So frustrating.

Broken knob out of the Box
The unboxing of this blender was normal until I tested the device. The main control knob seems disconnected and broken. It hangs out of the motor area and droops down. The machine was promising and reviews were good but am terribly disappointed to see a brand new mahcine with a broken knob.

Wonderful!
Where did the ice go?! I am impressed. Great for smoothies and juicing. Photo for proof and note the size... HUGE blender. Lol.

Absolutely PERFECT blender except for two important things...
I make smoothies. And the way I make them is different than many people. I use a large amount of thick Greek yogurt, a tiny bit of milk, frozen fruit, a banana or two, and whatever else I decide to add (maybe spinach leaves, a cooked sweet potato, raw almonds, a couple of drops of vanilla or cinnamon or rum extract). The smoothies come out very thick, like the old fashioned milkshakes, just a little thinner than a DQ Blizzard. For years I have used a Ninja blender, and I have nothing bad to say about those. They work great. But I dropped it by accident and broke the flip up part of the lid, rendering it useless.I chose to see what the competition was like. I have a Nutribullet but it is not good for this job... doesn't handle the thickness very well.I was a bit leery when I received this because it only has blades on the bottom. The Ninja excelled at thoroughly mixing thick concoctions because it has a post with several blades from the top to the bottom, ensuring every bit of the good stuff gets mixed. When I saw blades just at the bottom of this Arcbt 1450 Watt Countertop Blender, I decided before trying that it was not going to be able to blend my thick stuff with nuts and frozen fruit well.BOY was I wrong! I threw everything into the blender, I left it on its LOWEST setting, pressed the power button and, I kid you not, in less than 5 seconds the whole thing - filled up with my ingredients almost to the top of the pitcher - was completely unified and smooth. I just couldn't believe it!I don't add ice like some people do (the frozen fruit serves the same purpose better) , but I'm certain that it could take a whole pitcher full of ice and crush it evenly in seconds. Now, in the title of this review I said it was perfect "except for two things..."Well here they are:(1) The pour spout is not shaped well.It is too wide and flat. When I pour my thick smoothie out into a drinking glass, it has trouble pouring out neatly. I end up with some on the counter or running down the sides of the glass. Note also that unlike some blenders, you have to completely remove the lid to pour anything else.(2) The bottom rusts. The pitcher and the blade are all a single assembly. That in itself is not a problem. However, because the blade is the bottom of the pitcher, hand washing is not possible without risking getting cut. Instead, I put it into my dishwasher on the bottom rack. It fits just fine nd everything gets spotlessly clean, BUT after the second time of doing that the bottom of the blade assembly began showing rust. See the attached image.I want so badly to give this powerhouse 5 stars, but the rusting blade assembly is a big oversight on the manufacturer's part. It either needs to be constructed from a better stainless steel or a heavy aluminum or it needs to be coated with zinc or something that doesn't rust.I would LOVE to give this 5 full stars. Fixing the pour spout and the rust issue would change my rating to 5 stars because I LOVE THIS BLENDER!
