This is essentially a microphone and Bluetooth karaoke speaker,complete with flashing lights, combined, which we bought for our 5-year-old. Despite the good reviews we were worried this would prove to be a bit of a gimmick but actually it’s been easy to set up and loads of fun whether hooking it up to Spotify to sing along to a favourite song or using it to announce the arrival of an engine when playing with our train set. Our daughter loves how with Bluetooth it transforms from microphone to speaker that she can walk around with. Just note that the Bluetooth range isn’t brilliant so if she goes into another room away from the source of music (mobile phone, smart TV, tablet etc) it loses signal, not that that’s proven a huge issue so far. There are a few effects to play around with when singing, but we’ve found the basic karaoke setting is the best. The only feature that doesn’t seem to work is the volume - we can turn music that’s playing through the mic up or down on our mobile phone, but not on the mic itself. That’s mostly ok, but not ideal when we’d like to turn down the mic - mostly when our girl has one of the voice-changing effects on. I might report this to Amazon, but we’ll see that all other features are working first as we haven’t yet tested the record function and I’m not sure we received the little card (is it a memory card?) that comes with it. In summary, if you’re toying with buying a mic with separate speaker / music player or a karaoke machine with mic, we’ve been very happy with this one as it’s compact, affordable and has decent sound quality.

The media could not be loaded.  Glancing at some of the reviews, you’d be forgiven for thinking that this is a kid’s toy... NOT SO! My twenty-something daughters were bowled over and it’s difficult now for the younger kids to get a turn! (See video)The mic arrived well-packaged and is good looking. Ours arrived fully charged so we wasted no time trying it out. It gives you clear spoken updates as to the Bluetooth status and the various modes. It connected instantly and within seconds we were skipping through song after song.The sound quality is really good, and it’s easy to balance the volume of your voice with the volume of the music player. Some reviewers have said it’s not loud enough - I wouldn’t like to hear what those people think of as ‘loud’, because this mic plays at an incredible volume before you get any hint of distortion. Our neighbours six houses away asked us what we were doing - and then had a go!The voice effects and reverb are fun additions, as are the options to record or sing along to FM radio. It didn’t take long to discover all of these options (you don’t really need the instructions at all) along with using the mic buttons to step back forth through your playlist.A voucher for your next purchase is included, and we have already ordered another Ankuka mic, the next one in the range. I don’t think we will stop there either - for the price, I’m sure this household will end up with one each! Great fun and highly recommended!

The actual microphone is great and the quality of the speaker is much better than I expected, I love the 'four voices' which I didn't even realise were a part of the microphone until I bought it. I also love the 'rec' button which switches between the instrumental of the song you are playing and the actual song with the vocals. However, a few things to be wary of -- when you turn the microphone on and off the sound it makes is so so so so loud it is very annoying (I know it's a microphone anyway so you're not expecting it to be quiet, but it's just something to consider). The power button is also above all the rest of the buttons, on top of the speaker and blends in so it may be a bit difficult to find at first. After using it for a few days I am satisfied with the product quality and the long lasting battery, for the price it is very worth it!

Bought this for my grandaughters Christmas. She loved although our ears didn't!! Easy to set up the bluetooth and the sound quality is good unless they have it on at its highest and then its whistling in your ears! Technically it's not meant to be that high. Overall it comes in other colours, it's an easy set up, the kids love it and it makes a perfect gift!

My niece loved it and even her 10 year old brother, they played with it for hours and had lots of fun. Different settings for sounds option, great value for money

Had high hopes for this mic but it arrived dented

We bought this for our three year old daughter that likes to sing. When you first turn it on the woman comes on talking and tells you the device is ready for pairing. It was very easy to pair the microphone to our phones to play music. The music through the microphone was nice and clear and the music played loud. You could use this microphone for just a speaker if you wanted to. When you sing into the microphone your voice comes out nice and loud even louder than the music your playing. The quality of your voice isn’t as great as a professional mic but it’s still good. The buttons on the mic were easy and clear to understand and the color of the microphone is beautiful. Overall a great product for the money and will be well used by us. We did just open it and play with it and if anything changes soon I will update the review.

Looks amazing, learning to use it is a bit rough. Had to find a video on YouTube. We are in the game now though!

Les enfants (et même les adultes) ont adoré. Les lumières LED ajoutent une ambiance festive et amusante.La connexion Bluetooth est facile et rapide, et le son est vraiment bon pour un micro de ce type. Les micros sont solides et bien conçus, parfaits pour les enfants et les adultes. C'est devenu un élément incontournable de nos soirées.En résumé, c'est un excellent produit pour mettre de l'ambiance lors des fêtes et un super cadeau pour les enfants. Je recommande vivement ce microphone karaoké pour des moments de fun garantis !
