A great light that does not require earthing.
A great advantage of this model is the fact it is double insulated and so does not need earthing. Many current lights do and I had to return the first product I ordered as my electricity supply had only two wires, live and neutral.Would have given five stars if a) the cover is not held in place by two very small screws above and below the unit which were fiddly to insert and b) the fixing holes for the back plate had been pre-drilled.

Easy to wire
It is nice and bright.its motion detection is at least 18 feet.There's plenty of room at the back of it to wire up.This is why I bought it,based on the picture shown . Very pleased .

Bright lights
Lights up the outside really good and looks good

Rapid motion detection
Good looking design.Fairly easy to install and works well from twilight onwards.Illumination period can be easily adjusted.Does not waste energy by lighting up during daylight hours

Stopped working after 12 months
Fitting looks good, the light intensity is adequate, but like so many others on here it stopped working after just 12 months! Makes a reasonable purchase price look expensive when I now need to buy another light.

Poor instructions
Bought two to replace similar lamps that were old and had corroded fronts. Same hole position made them easy to install. But installation instructions are poor - after watching an on-line video on installing a different PIR lamp realised that the lux adjuster had to be FULLY clockwise in order to set-up in daylight. the time adjustment needs to be almost fully anti-clockwise so that the light will switch off in a resonably short time. LED strip not replaceable so remains to be see whether these last as long as the earlier bulb models.
