Honestly I do love these book clips. I've tried several different book holders and these are by far my favorites. My only complaint is that you have to shift them up or down to read around whatever words the clips are covering at the top of the pages while they're holding them flat, but until the Book Magic-ians conjure up some clear clips, I'm willing to put up with this small annoyance. Thank you!

I've read people complaining that it doesn't fit thick books- just don't place the prongs on the covers! Place the prongs in the middle of the book pages. I use these to keep some mini scrapbooks open to specific pages when they're on display.

It keeps the book opened but it's cumbersome to turn pages as you have to keep pulling it out about halfway and then reinsert in it.

This is one of those inventions you can't live without! I love these. I had no idea they made these anymore. I've been looking. My old one bent from being stepped on. It was about 15-18 years old. My husband searched for these for me and couldn't find them. Book stores thought I was crazy when I explained it. When I found it here, I grabbed it. At my dentist's office two girls saw it and just HAD to know where I got it from. They wanted them as badly as I did. It's great for arthritis sufferers and those with weak hand and arms who can't hold it open for too long. Months later those same two girls told me they loved it too.

This is a great little gadget! It literally ‘does the job for you’! I read so much that my hand actually cramps up from holding it in one position so long... and then I discovered this book pin!! I pin the pages down, prop the book on a lap pillow and ‘voila’ no more hand cramps inflaming carpal tunnel! Keep several of these gadgets on hand because you’ll want to share this magic with your literary friends!!

These little wire loops are perfect for holding paperback books up to 8.5x11 binders open to a page. They're small and light, easily stored in a pen-cup, work great, and are there when you need them.Other products are too large, too 'springy', use weight to keep things open, too hard to turn the page. These are just perfect.

I bought one of these years ago locally, and wanted another 1 or 2, and was sooo glad to find them on Amazon!! They make it even more enjoyable to read! They'll hold your book open on a table, in your lap, or on a pillow. I tried another brand, which were much thinner, and unless I was careful, they would have damaged the pages. But these don't!! Love these, don't want to read without one!!
