Be aware of what you plug this into
The headline is meant for those who have tried to use but have not been able too. You need to be aware of input and output voltage. You cannot just plug this into any block or outlet and expect it to work. I tried using a usb charging block that's output was 5.2V and it didnt work. I then plugged it into my laptop which allows for higher voltage output and it works perfectly fine with my Canon M50 mirrorless camera. Make sure you know where you can use this before buying. If you aren't aware don't assume that it will work everywhere. Educate

Battery door doesn't close for Canon Rebel SL1
The connector to the dummy battery stick out from middle of the battery. This will not work for Canon Rebel SL1.Without closing the battery door, the camera will not turn on.

This works perfectly for my Canon EOS M50!
This works perfectly for me! Since the pandemic started, I’ve been trying to find a dependable AC adapter for my EOS M50. The Canon brand one hasn’t been available in months and is really expensive. Since I’m using my M50 as a webcam for online conferencing, I needed it to last more than the 90 minutes or so the LP-E12 battery lasts. There are several inexpensive AC adapters available but the reviews were less positive than I preferred.Then I ran across the USB to Dummy Battery Replacement for Canon LP-E12 40" Adapter Cable. I sent the seller a question and I was impressed with their response so I ordered one. I am very pleased with this. I have used it for two online conferences with a 22,000 mAh battery bank. After more than four hours of use, the battery bank still shows four out of four LEDs. I’m confident I can operate the camera off the battery bank for at least 12-14 hours, if not longer! On top of that, it worked perfectly when I used it with a USB charger.The key is to make sure, as the listing states, to use a battery bank or charger that has at least a 2.0 amp output. The only things I would want changed are the length of the cable and I would prefer that it had a right-angle plug instead of a straight plug since it sticks straight out the bottom of the camera.
