Artbath Shower tub spout brass

It looks amazing but mine is loud af when filling the tub. Shower and hand held are fine. It’s so loud that you have to yell over it and it can be heard in every room in the house and even outside. It sounds like a fighter jet. There is no information on the instructions to indicate how to contact the manufacturer. Will try contacting the seller to see about a replacement cartridge or something. I will update my review after speaking with the seller.UPDATE: Customer Service is outstanding which bumped up my original rating. Amazon contacted the seller and they immedyreached out and sent a replacement. I won’t be able to install until after the holidays and will give another update once I do to see if that takes care of the noise. I manufacture bathtubs and would recommend Artbath to any of my customers for their service alone. They stand behind their products. 12/25/18 Update, installed and works phenomenally! Extremely pleased. Would define it again and will most definitely search for Artbath products in the future.

This is really a very nice set. When you shower under the head it fully immerses you in water. I am over 6'3" and 200+ and it feels great. The wand is plastic, but very nice. I only have two wishes, posted in the interest of feedback to the company. I believe the bathtub spout needs to be larger. The water sounds strange coming out of the narrow opening and I believe it looks a little off being so narrow. Offer a brushed nickel version and charge an extra 20 bucks....I would have paid it. Very nice shower system at an extremely reasonable price.

Highly polished chrome, well packed, great value. Really liked the quality and construction of the valve assembly. It was easy to mount and american standard pipe fittings worked great. Only two small issues. I did not use the sprayer 90 degree fitting. Not that it was bad but since it is square it was hard to line it up straight up and down as the fitting tightened into the female fitting in the shower wall. I had to use another round type. Also I wanted a more flush arrangement. The round was only $12. Be careful when tightening the shower head pipe rods. They are square but thin walls. Use a crescent wrench not pliers or channel locks, you will dent them. Recommended purchase!

Somehow over the two months of our bathroom renovation project we misplaced the shower valve handle and the shower diverter knob. I emailed Artbath and was straight-up that the two items had been misplaced and asked if it would be possible to purchase them separately. Well, I couldn't because they responded they would be happy to send them FREE OF CHARGE. Does anyone think Lowe's or Home Depot would have done that?And here's the thing. This is a beautiful and very well made product that looks terrific in our new shower. It is exactly what we wanted. I bought the hose because I have two broken legs .After 3 months I was able to take my first shower. I bought the house because of its flexibility. The rubber hose that came with the shower head that I have was always opening the shower curtain and getting water everywhere. I also bought it because sitting on the handicap chair to wash was much nicer with the longer and the stainless steel hose being more flexible. I highly recommend it to anyone.

This hose is a very different design than most other flexible metal hoses.Most are sheet metal strip that is interlocked and wrapped in spiral. They contain a very flexible tube that expands inside the metal tube. Cheaper ones have a very course spiral and tend to break where attached to the ends. These are found at Lowes and Home Depot. Better quality ones have a much finer pitch and do not break at the ends.This one is basically a spring and the tube expands inside the spring. It tends to have a different twist when under pressure and relaxed. It is more flexible the sheet metal spiral design. So far I prefer this design.Note, all designs using an expandable tube are subject to the same failure of the tube coming loose. These tubs are very difficult to grip securely. Do not expect any of them to last more than 3 or 4 years.

We were looking for shower, bath, and wand system. Also,we were looking for a long tub spout that would reach a stand alone tub. We searched and searched. We bought and installed the ArtBath faucet. Six months later....We love it. It works great, looks great and the price for value was beyond great. The package arrived with individual parts wrapped in gift like material. I think Artist's packaged the faucet. It was perfect. Installation is best left to an experienced installer. While I installed it, the tolerances for wall depth were either standard or liberal and easily manageable. After months of daily use, it works perfectly. I RECOMMEND.... We used the shower extension for the tub filler,works great. We also mounted all components in a asymmetrical pattern. I would buy again. I was so afraid of leaks, etc,in the beginning. Only critic is: Selector icons are difficult to see for me ( 50's). I just memorized which way to turn when going from tub to wand, etc. The system looks great and expensive. The one I installed is truly nice. I hope this helps. I also wanted to give this small company a Thumbs Up..,Rarely does one find such a high quality item.

Ordered this hose as a replacement for another, more expensive one that failed. Surprisingly, this one far exceeds the one replaced in both quality and appearance. Without hesitation, I'd highly recommend this hose to anyone in need.Be forewarned, however: this company will doggedly hound you until you've left feedback for them. In my case, I received a solicitation even after having written my review.

Looks the part and feels heavy duty, but the good bits end there for me.The inlet of the hose is narrow at both ends which restricts water movement and reduces pressure at the shower head. We used this on a bath mixer and also found that the design left the temperature harder to control for some reason possibly as the hot and cold feed couldn’t enter the pipe simultaneously - when returning to a cheaper alternative with a larger inlet the pressure and temperature are fine.Also found that although it looked cool, we had to manoeuvre it very gingerly as the internal hose would kink easily

So pleased with this shower head; we thought we just had low pressure until we replaced our old shower head with this one. It looks good, was easy to fit, screwing straight onto the existing arm, pivots easily to adjust the aim, and delivers a very good flow of water. I measured the flow at approximately 5 litres in 32 seconds, compared to 1 min 25 seconds with my old shower, so for me this was a huge improvement. I also bought another shower head for comparison which was equally as good, so I've kept it as a back up since I live in a hard-water area, so may need to de-scale or replace more frequently.

A strong well made hose and shower head. Solid bit on heavy side but it needs to be for the job it does

A really good length. I chose it because it s thinner than most hoses and doesn't have the deep groves where soap and scale normally gather.

People say it is 10mm but when I replaced 10mm - now my boiler stops heating water after short period of time - that would happen when there is not enough flow trough hot water tap. Also after replacing this hose with old one - pressure on shower head is higher and hot water doesn't cut off.Most likely BORE of this hose is lower than 10mm and despite sleek design it should be used only on electric showers which need lesser bore.Fair enough seller accepted return.

This is much better than the normal shower hose. Better material. Better flexibility. Suspect it will last longer than the one we just had to replace.

Very high quality hose in both looks and feel. Its a wound metal outer core which just gives it a nice springy look, bit like a giant guitar string. Hangs nicely and doesn't kink like some do. Would definitely recommend.

Great length (I can wash my hair separately since we use this), no leaking whatsoever. We bought this nearly a year ago and have no reason to complain about. :)

I purchased this hose to replace a cheap hose that I bought a few years ago, and the extra money was well spent - the quality is much better than the replacement cheap hoses you buy from DIY stores. Very pleased with my purchase.

This shower hose is great as it is very flexible and 'drapes' nicely when hanging from the shower and shower head. As it's not 'stiff' you can shower comfortably without 'fighting' the shower head. Nice and long.

I was very skeptable about buying a cheep shower head and normally buy ones well over £100 but thought about I didn’t want to spend loads so bought this with the intensions it probably would be terrible and woundnt work and is just bin it if it didn’t - how shocked am I - it’s brilliant and works really really well. Only had it about 3 weeks but so far very very pleased indeed. If you are worried about buying this I wouldn’t be worried at all.

Good quality, but beware, the actual size of the shower spray is 6inch not 8 as there is a 1inch rim all the way round. Order a 10 inch shower head if you want a shower spray of 8inches.

Bought this long shower hose as wanted it to be able to reach the toilet near the bath. The Length is good, however, it tends to kink too much, and therefore water flow decreases.

It is too narrow, which prevents the water from flowing with a decent pressure and causes issues with my electric shower.For me it is simply useless connected to an electric shower.

Previous reviewer is wrong; this hose reduces pressure by about half! Once fitted, the shower jets barely reach halfway along the bath with a weak dribble! DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE GRAVITY FED OR POWER SHOWER, YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED, may be suitable for a low pressure electric shower only. Returning!
