Let me tell people who want a well written story book 📖 that will emotionally move you. This story made me happy 🤗 and it made me sad, it made laugh 😂 and it made me cry 😭 I just loved this story. I will go a couple of days looking at a Marni Mann story I know I want to read but I some ARC's (advance reader copies) for other authors I have to read but I have to at least once a week read a Marni Mann book 📚📖 or series. I will give you a review without giving away the story. This is the story of Billie Paige and Jared Morgan. Billie Paige is a food vlogger who lives in New York. She went to NYU and her and her roommate and best friend for five years after college and now she lives close by with her boyfriend turned husband Robert.Jared Morgan has Security company he established and has over 300 people working for him. Jared and Billie are on the same flight ✈️ together going to San Francisco and that is where there story begins. While we are reading about their story Marni Mann is telling the story of Honey and Andrew. You will love their story too. Andrew is a doctor who moves to Portland Maine and for reasons maybe of destiny Andrew and Honey find their selves in a relationship. This story is good and I had all kinds of questions about this story. I loved this story and read it in one sitting. I started late last night, after midnight, and finished this story because I couldn't put it down. Good this book 📚📖, it's wonderfully written and will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. This is a Good Read and I recommend this highly.

Wow! Marni Mann is one of those authors that can write anything.Steamy? You got it.Dark? Yup, she has that too.Emotional? Of course.But where she really gets you is in creating a world that you don't see coming with all of the above. One in where there is not only one love story but two that are intertwined in a way that is so unexpected. Clever, heartbreaking and mind blowing!Right from the start we get a prologue that reels you in. You keep it in the back of your mind and try to piece it together with the story that is about to be told. But like I said, we get two love stories here. One in the present with Billie and Jared and one in the past with Honey and Andrew. 3 total POVs that bring you something tragic yet beautiful.I'm not going to go into details of the story, but I will say that this was one unique journey that shattered my mind, pieced it and my heart back together with care and then broke it again. I was put through the emotional wringer with this one. Seeing the ebb and flow of love that was destined brought me some happiness, even during the pain. I loved all of the characters and their story of love and connection. They were vulnerable, yet open to possibility. And that is what I feared most.Go in blind, but be prepared. This is one story that will stick with you. Bravo, Miss Mann. Bravo! 4.5 stars!"Some stories had the power to change lives forever. This story changed an entire town."

I've read many of Author Mann's books, and this is DIFFERENT. It's quiet, and captivating, and sneaks up on you when you least expect it. It frustrated me a bit in the beginning, but it was only because I was impatient. As soon as I chilled and relaxed, this book enveloped me like a warm blanket. I gave in to its subtle complexities, and easy dialogue. I moved through the pages fast, and devoured the clues the author left along the way. I WAS WRONG. I got to the end utterly satisfied and didn't see the ending coming. The story wasn't bogged down with smexy scenes, and the ending truly made me smile because it was unexpected.

I'm absolutely addicted to Marni Mann's storytelling. With Before You, there are many moving parts with a fistful of different characters to keep track of, going back and forth between their stories. 30 years separates the beautiful love story of Honey and Andrew with the steamier albeit no less intense relationship between Billie and Jared. As usual, Mann provides a head-scratcher of a tale, getting me more and more involved until that gasp out loud, 'a-ha' moment where everything falls into place despite the cut of the jagged pieces that got us there.I'm floored. I admit my lack of detective skills when it came to figuring out what the connection btw these characters would be at the conclusion of this book but wow, never did I guess just how entangled they were. Each story on its own kept me turning the pages, hoping for Honey and Andrew to have the family they so desperately wanted. And with Jared and Billie, I just wanted for them to have some semblance of peace after what they go through together and to perhaps find in the other what their spirit now lacked.This book is filled with excruciating emotions yet at times were extremely subtle. But I felt them all and couldn't pretend that I wasn't afraid at how the loose ends would ultimately be tied up. I was fully invested in their desires and feelings of dread when all of their worlds seemingly spiral out of control.Sifting through the paths of this maze was never easy but Mann's prose kept me engaged even when I was confused as all hell. And I'm here to say that every puzzling moment was well worth the extraordinary explanation that honestly had me all kinds of shocked. But that's what I both expect and need from this author. I don't want the usual and Mann delivers impeccably once more.Before You is not an HEA nor is it even an HFN in my opinion. To me, it has a potential for some happy that only time will tell.A real page-turner, I was deliberately vague about the circumstances these characters endure so please go in blind and enjoy this wild ride like I did. It's a 5 star read that will certainly blow you away.

This was a very good book, and I loved both characters. The back story came together. I only rated the book a 3 because the ending left me emotionally unfulfilled. The ending felt incomplete. Investing time in a book to feel let down is a bummer.

BEFORE YOU by Marni MannJared and Billie Honey and Andrew's storiesI found this book so intriguing. Two stories written side by side and me desperately trying to connect them. The characters were real and the story pulled me in completely! I found myself unable to put down my Kindle. The emotions run high and low. So many feelings woven into this wonderful story that I won't soon forget!!!!!

Mann outdid herself! It's an amazing read. The book unfolds as you go and I didn't see coming and how everything fitted into each other! I aboslut6love when books surprise me and this one definitely did!Story 5/5 ⭐ spice 3/5 🌶️

Story blew my mind. Marni has built the story in a very meticulous fashion. You keep turning the pages never wanting to stop. The meeting point of the past and the present, wow one could never guess 🙂🙂. No more spoilers. Please dive right in. 😇

Past meet future with twist & turns. A love story an ending I didn't see coming.Beautifully written with two different story's going on throughout the book

This was a nice story but when the truth came to light I wasn't shocked or suprised at the revelation and what major part Jared played in it or the other couple who's story ran parallel to Billie & Jared's and who they were to Billie. A predictable story but still worth a read.
