These lights are great and value for money. We bought these for our new white sideboard. They are super bright and you can change the colour at the touch of a button with the remote control depending what mood you wish to achieve.

Purchased 10m kit with Wifi adapter, setting up Wifi adapter is straight forward. The app controls the lights very well, there are many functions, including strobe and colour fading, syncs to music or microphone. Also links well with Alexa and Echo dot so can use voice commands to control lights. If looking to install LED strip at ceiling height the problem is that the electrical leads on the power supply are not long enough when pluged in to a UK domestic socket which are typically located just above the skirting board, there are few ways around this by using extension leads, but that doesnt offer a very neat and discrete install. The output lead from the power supply would look more discrete if it were coloured white rather than black. The 10m kit uses two 5m strips which are joined together, where they are joined there is a 20cm section of joining cable, this large section has no lights so looks a bit odd, the design of the strip lights where they join together could be better, it would look better to minimise the joining cable lengths as they are not illuminated. The strip lights use a double sided self adhesive tape, the problem with the tape is separating the protective cover tape, its very awkward to separate the tape. Once separated one can stick to walls, the instructions advise removing any surface dust with a damp cloth, the tape sticks ok but doesnt stick very well to paited emulsion walls, they will stick but one needs extra patience and time to ensure all is stuck down. On the first attempt they fell down after a few hours, on second install attempt we added extra double sided tape where the two 5m sections join. All being said, the lights provide a good visual effect and colors are very good, brightness levels are very good, and App works very well. App works best if one registers an account, so you operate via wifi from an Access point router. You can operate them direct without account registration by selecting the wifi module as an access point but one will not have any internet access using a direct wifi connection, so easier to register an account and link through ones home wifi, you can install app on several devices and control same lights from different mobile devices which are running app at the same time. Overall its good bit of kit, just some install issues to be mindful of. The App deserves 5 stars, light effects are 5 stars, light install lets it down, pity though lights are let down by using power leads which are too short, double sided tape that could stick better and better if they joined 5m strips together more discretely. After only 7 months the 12V power supply has failed due to internal fault, so lights cannot be used, contacted seller via Amazon but got no response, had to purchase another power supply, Amazon only offered a £5 voucher off a next purchase.

Some sections of the lights were slightly broken, so the colors were different at time depending on the RGB pattern

It's a great product but I have some of the tape leftover that I cannot re-use. It would be helpful to know how I could order separates i.e a remote control, another plug and another white box thing so that I could attach the remaining tape to it to make up another set to go into another room. It seems a waste just to throw away the strip tape that I have leftover because I haven't got the items I need to make up a further set.

This works excellent when connected using the 240v plug provided but will not work direct from a 12v source , so no good for the purpose I bought it for to use in my campervan

Very happy with my lights I got for Christmas from Amazon, easy install, lots of colours to choose from, easy on/off switch, USB powered from any socket, it lights the back of my TV up real good and looks great with my Hue lights. I also like the ability to fade colours and have bright white option for lighting my living room up better. Only gripe is the adhesion is not great but I fixed this with some blue tak works much better and easier to remove without a mess should you want to adjust or remove them somewhere else.

I bought led lights for the very first time and the purchase served the purpose well of fancy led light decoration for me. I had no difficulties to install. I like the fact that it can be used with any power source like laptop, power bank or any usb charger plug. These lights can be used for various purposes.

These led strip lights are such mood enhancer and so many beautiful colours. The remote controller can switch between many different colours and i can dim the brightness or increase it. I have cut them to length and they are cool to touch, completely safe. Brilliant decoration i love them.
