I swear I'm not a ringer or work for this company. I have cut my own hair for 30 years with a trimmer like this. I have tried many of the consumer grade trimmer, Wahl, Conair and others, mostly plug in over the year. This is easily the best trimmer I have ever had be it corded or cordless.First is the heft. It just feels much more sturdy than the typical plastic trimmers. It feels professional and cuts very well. In fact it performs and feels better than every single trimmer I have ever had by a lot. I have a Panasonic and this is much better by ever measure.Second is battery life. I cut my hair once a month. I have had this for three years AND I HAVE NOT HAD TO CHARGE IT! This is nuts to me. I would perfectly happy charing between haircuts but it uses at most 5% battery for a 20 minute haircut. Performance does not change as the battery drains.Lastly is performance. It just cuts well. Many of my previous would clog or struggle with thick hair. This just cuts. It just performs perfectly.The only criticism is that is does not come with side taper combs (spacers). Of course I have boxes of them from old trimmers and they fit fine. So no issue. But it would be good if it came with side taper combs.It is unusual for a product to exceed expectation so dramatically but I would pay 4x or be willing to replace it each year as I had to do with normal consumer trimmers. Not only do I not need to replace it annually. I don't need to charge it!

My dream has finally come true. I have been broken free of the shackles of the Wahl slice and dice. I have hated these those clippers since the first pair I owned back in '80s. They never stay sharp they never cut well. But enough about their crap.I love love love these clippers. One pass did such an amazing job of a super close shave that I was blown away. Usually it takes a while to shave bald because there's always patches and stray hairs and you have to go over and over and over. That's not something you have to worry about with these. Seriously, I've been dreaming of these clippers for years I just couldn't find them. It was the glowing reviews from actual cosmetologists and barbers that caused me to select this product. I am so happy that professionals have started buying from Amazon so that I can learn from them through their reviews. like any of the barbers who have been in the business for 30 years, I will recommend these to everyone. They're sleek they're pretty, who knew you could have amazing function and form combined in one product. It keeps its charge for a super long time so you don't have to worry about interrupting a haircut. It really is a joy to use. it's probably a good thing I don't have dogs or they would have some pretty interesting haircuts. And I'm not going to say that I'm not looking at the cats out of the side of my eye though. That's right hair is hair. You can in fact cut animal hair with "people" clippers. Even if you don't know it they are often the same products. it's just like knowing what art supplies to buy from a hardware store instead of the art store.I only have two complaints. One of the blade guards is melted and twisted so therefore completely unusable. My other complaint is that it did not come with a container. Though I must say the box it's shipped in is very nice for a cardboard box. As I mentioned I have those old horrible wahl clippers, so I threw them out kept the blade guards and my new wonderful clippers now live where the bastard clippers used to. The Wahl guards basically fit so I'm not too upset that one of the guards was wonky. Truthfully it's not even a length that I use.

I had a pair of clippers by this company that lasted 3 years, from 2020 to 2023. They were great and still worked when I replaced them due to the rechargeable battery, it was not charging and the battery didn't have a replacement. I got a different brand since this brand was not in stock, they lasted 6 haircuts, 5 months. It was very disappointing. I purchased these and was surprised, they are better than my first pair of clippers. They are quite and cut smoothly. They are fully charged straight out of the box. I like the storage tray, it's convenient for keeping the clippers in the Rubbermaid tote I use for hair cut supplies. Overall I am happy with these clippers and I expected to have them another 3 years or more.

Update 2/2024: So as I mentioned I only cut my kids hair. And I also cut my own. In the time I’ve had them I haven’t used them to extensively. These get VERY HOT. Very fast. If you try to use them for blending out the first guideline, it burns. I spray them constantly with cool care. I’ve cleaned them with barbicide. I don’t know what the “oil” indicator light is for. It does not have a reservoir. They still cut fine and run good. Just get very hot very fast and it’s inconvenient. Thats even with turning on and off as cutting.I am not a barber I just cut my kids hair and my own. I think the worst part of this set is the guards. That’s why 8/10. Unless they’ve changed since June of 2022, when I purchased them, they fall off they do not stay on so be careful! Thankfully I’ve never had an accident. I eventually threw them away and used my Wahls clipper guards. I also zero gapped them they don’t come zero gapped. The battery has been good. I can do probably 3 cuts on one charge but I never let it go past 70 I just recharge. Good set! Clippers are pretty quiet! They’re ergonomic. Not heavy, but solid material for sure!

I probably should have written this years ago (Amzn says my purchase was "Jun 17, 2020"). Great clippers! Nearly 5 years and they're still going strong. The weight is not too heavy, but feels substantial. I clean it w/ the brush after every few uses, and oil it every few months. I cut my hair ever 7-10 days and only need to charge it once every 3-4 months. Great cut, great battery length -- worth every penny!
