The bags are a lot wider than I expected for 5 gallons. They are true black, dense felt. Handles are woven, straps stitched in a boxed X on each side of each handle.As pictured, behind each handle is a large square of felt that matches the felt of the bag, which is sewn on 3 sides, so there’s a rather large gap. Seams are huge too. I don’t think it’ll be an issue for my green beans, who are still to tiny to leave their quarts as of yet.
