Worked well
I purchase another well known brand which turned out to be a waste of time. When the line was filled with clothes the line sagged and sagged and sagged until I just threw it away and replaced it with this one which is capable of supporting the same set of clothes without much sag.

Just like one in hotels
This is just like the ones I have seen in hotels. I like that it has a twist lock to secure the string. We use it frequently to hold sweaters and other heavier items and it works well

VERY sturdy (compared to the "string" line I previously owned) - holds several pieces of clothing without bowing in the middle of a 3 foot + space! So glad I bought it!

Hotel Quality - polished stainless finish
If you are looking for a retractable clothesline, like what maybe you've used at a nice hotel, this is the one to buy. It's made by Geesa, a company based in the Netherlands that makes products for hotel chains. While it is pricey, almost 3 times the price of the comparable Moen brand, this one is very high quality (no plastic parts - everything is metal) and is guaranteed for 10 years. One thing worth noting, this product has a polished stainless steel finish (product number 134), closer to chrome. Although Geesa also makes a brushed stainless steel finish as well (product number 134RVS). I wish the Amazon description was a little more clear on which finish is being sold here.

Not as nice as I'd hoped
I purchased this thinking, at that price, it would be heavy, substanial, and have a beautiful chrome finish. Instead, the metal seems thin, tinny, and it looks to me more like polished stainless than true chrome. I don't think this is brass construction. I'm disappointed because I have purchased other items from this company that are great. It seemed to work fine and it has an all-metal construction, so I'm sure it's very functional, but I returned it because it just didn't look as good and feel as solid as I wanted. I purchased one by the Swedish company Smedbo for basically the same price -- it has a more modern look, which works better for my bathroom, but more importantly, it feels really substantial and heavy, does have an all-brass construction, and has a beautifully chromed exterior. Plus it has a 10 year warranty. I would recommend the Smedbo over this one.

Installed in vacation rental
A little pricey, but very nice and does the job. If it lasts for years - then I will be happy.

Five Stars
Works good. Does droop a bit if you load it up. But overall very satisfied.
