Perfect for my steam punk witch outfit I am putting together for some big parties for halloween... recommend it highly.. well made...Absolutely perfect for what I am doing!!!

One of my favorite hobbies is to go witchin. I wore this for a movie and it was absolute perfection. Amazingly designed and crafted. For the price I was pleasantly surprised. I’m considering buying it in brown, even though I have absolutely no use for brown! I guess I could just wear it around the farm to do squirrel chores and give all the nosy passers by even more to talk about at Casey’s🦹🏼‍♀️ I’ve read this often but now I completely understand: ‘if you’re on the fence, buy it!’

The skirt fit as expected- I normally wear a medium and I ordered a medium. 5'6"; 135 lbs. I have a 31" waist but it's naturally very high- most skirts don't sit that high. Where this would fit most women (and where I wore it) I am around 34". If you are borderline I'd go down in size. I'd ordered the Belle Poque striped skirt off Amazon first- it was too big but I couldn't get a smaller size in time. I preferred that one just a little more. The material was a little better and when cinched up the other one had more volume. If you're looking for a Victorian or showgirl costume that "pouff" might matter. I think it might be because this skirt pulls to cinch the skirt length at the waist- and the other skirt cinches from the bottom up. I still gave this a 5 star because had I not ordered/seen the other one I'd have been perfectly happy. It looks far better than the cheap costume crap you see at Halloween stores on every block nowadays. I did steam mine to get packing wrinkles out- but a quick fluff with a wet towel in the dryer might work too. My husband actually said that pirate's get wrinkly so leave it alone. LOL.

I ordered this wrap skirt as part of my Steampunk outfit. I am very happy with the styling and quality. I wish the waist was just a bit larger.

I had a costume and it was perfect!

I love this skirt and I'm so glad that I bought it. It fits great and is very comfortable. The waist has a generous amount of elastic in the back and is flat in the front so it goes on nicely and stretches out well to slip the skirt on up over the hips and to fit a bigger waist but it still lays nice and flat in the front. It's not too high-wasted but it's designed just right to be complimentary to the waistline.You can pull up the strings on either side of the front to make it gather on each side of the front so you can put a full-length petticoat under it and it shows under the skirt nicely, as much as you want it to show or not. The skirt drapes nicely all around and is very comfortable to wear. It's well-made, durable, and it washed well. I washed it in a mesh bag on the gentle cycle in the machine and it came out great. It was a little wrinkly but fell smooth after wearing it a bit.I ordered an XL and I wear a size 20-22. My waist is 45" when I measure it and my hips are 48" so I sometimes have trouble finding things that fit my waist but this fit perfectly. I would recommend it.

I am so happy with this skirt -- it is probably the best mass-market costume piece I have ever purchased. All the seams are clean and well-finished with no random threads hanging off everywhere. The fabric is very nice, and you can't see through it at all, which is very unusual for costumes. It is designed to be very full, so there is ample room for curvy bottoms and hips. The waist is elastic, with the back being very stretchy, and the front being only slight so it can lay flatter. Do NOT order up a size if you are between sizes or the skirt will be way too big. The skirt irons up beautifully so take your time and do it right because it is totally worth it -- it took me under half an hour and looks amazing. I'm short (5'2") so the back of the skirt brushed just a bit on the floor (when barefoot), with the front coming about halfway up my shins before it was cinched up. I think it's really designed to be drawn way up high to show off your legs, but I only cinched it up to the knees and it still looked cool.

I got so many compliments on my outfit!!! It was wonderful! Fast shipping, perfect fit, very flattering! I wore over leggings for steampunk outfit to school. 10/10

While the idea of a tie-on bustle skirt is a good one, this particular product is very cheaply made. The design is nice, but the fabric is the cheapest stuff I've ever seen, as if it came from the worst costume store ever, and the tulle/netting underneath rips at a moment's notice. It's not worth the money, in my opinion. So yeah...it sucks.
