I normally don't write a review but in this case I'm making an exception to warn others. I purchased the above item and thought it was the best thing I could have done for my 4 year old, so I thought. I must say I even took a liking to it and played with my son chasing it. So as the battery ran low it looses altitude so I charged it at night. This is where the nightmare begins. My wife woke me up stating something was burning in our house. So we got and frantically began searching our home for the source. To my disbelief my wife observed the drone and power cord fried and emitting smoke on our counter. As you can see from the pics our teak counter was damaged but lucky for us teak wood smokes first before catching fire like regular wood. The outcome could have been much worse and caused a house fire or death. SO BUYER BE WARE

This is definitely their favorite toy recently. Keep them busy, they will chase it and laughing all the way. Pros: lightweight. Easy to use. Sturdy than I expected ( They hit and drop it many times before they figured out how it works). Cons: Battery runs out in 10 min play. You have to charge 40 min for 10 min play. Better to play inside, it flies fast in a large empty space. It will keep escape from the backyard.

Works surprisingly well! We use it as an indoor dog toy—the dog chases it, catches it every time and loves it. It’s so resilient that it’s never damaged and it flies again every time.

Great toy for kids. They love it and play with it till the end of the battery charge.

I LIKED IT. I TRIED TO ORDER 4 MORE OF THE SAME FOR MY GRAND KIDS ,1 BLUE 2 RED 1 GOLD FROM AMAZON . BUT THERE WAS NO WAY TO TELL THEM WHAT COLOR I WANTED SO I HAD TO CANCEL THE ORDER . I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM TO TELL THE TROUBLE I WAS HAVING WITH NO RESULTS.

broken wing, dented. useless. it will cost more to ship it back then what i paid for so will take a loss beware.The seller did a good job of sending me one that wasnt broken and this one works really well. my son loved it and i will definitely buying more for my nieces/nephews. The score down is just the first one sent was obviously from an older stock, and the new one was definitely newer and i wish i had received the second one first instead of waiting a week and complaining about it.

One of the little propellers fell off after only a couple of uses. It’s a cool little toy, but I basically paid $30 so my kids could play with it for 10 minutes.

parfait à coup sur ! 4, 6 et 10 ans courent maintenant comme des fous dans la maison et on entend un «uhhhhh pas déjà» lorsque la batterie est à plat. c'est le seul bémol le temps vol est d'environ 8 minute et 15-20 min sur une recharge rapide. alors vaut mieux en avoir deux pour alterner, ou pour faire moins de chicane si vous avez plus d'un enfant.

We got one like this from nanny for Christmas. It lasted us about a month. Which is relatively a lot longer than these toy drones usually last in my house. The usual exposed propeller helicopter ones always get destroyed here.This style with the cage around the blades is super fun for the little kids, since they are safe from the blades, and they are not able to crash it and break it right away. Also this one drives itself.So I got this one to replace the drone, because it had become a kind of cute daily routine where he wants to play with his drone. I have to supervise him to help him to launch it, and to recover it and re launch it when it goes too high. But he loves to "drive" it around by gesturing his hands near it.I think the battery life is perfect. the few minutes you get from each use. Because this sort of time boxes the activity time. Where he doesn't get bored playing with it. And also. I sort of need to work too, so having a few minutes break is nice but then its "oh no, ok, we have to charge the drone again". So i can put it away and charge it for later.I like the pack of two, so I have a spare if this one ever stops working too!.

I bought this mini drone for my little one to play with during the holidays. I didn't expect this drone giving my kids so much fun, they literally trace it crazy. Flying this drone technically has no skills required, I just hold it on my hand and gently throw it in the air, then it flies up by itself. There are 4 obstacle sensors on each side and one on the bottom, so it could fly away if it detects anything ahead.The only thing I would suggest is if the battery life could be longer, then this mini drone is the perfect toy for the family fun time.
