This looked pretty amazing in our basement playroom. We have 9 ft ceilings so I bought 2 sets to achieve this look. Otherwise, it looks a liitle odd (to me) to have 6 ft trees on these walls. I gave it 4 stars because you can count on it being quite permanent once you place it on the walls. You can remove them but it leaves a sticky film. So try not to mess up.

I put these in our nursery. The walls in there are 7ft so I knew based on other reviews that they would not reach from floor to ceiling. I started applying the decals from the ceiling down because I wanted the trees and leaves to reach the ceiling. It is difficult to perfectly space the trees apart (if you're a perfectionist like me haha) from starting at the top but it worked out. Because I started from the top I had a gap of 16-17 inches from the bottom of the tree to the floor but used painter's tape and white paint to paint the rest of the tree. Its not a perfect match but I'm not too worried since furniture will be covering the bottoms. The walls in the nursery do have a slight texture to them but the decals have stuck and stayed on nicely despite me having to take a few off to rearrange them. They are the perfect price and addition to our nursery and everyone that has seen them loves them.ONE MONTH UPDATE: While the decals are still on the wall and have not fallen off they have lost some of their stickiness and become unstuck from the wall. Everytime I go in the room I have to press them back down flat to the wall. I worry how long they will actually stay up before falling down and am considering squirting glue under a few of the more troublesome pieces.

Overall I have officially wasted my money. Disappointed. I ordered these in preparation to decorate the babies room around her crib. However, finally now (December) we opened the package and put up the stickers. Went on well although it does take forever. The... the very next day we walk into the baby room and the tree trunks are falling off or fell off completely. The integrity of this product is gone now and I cannot use it around baby crib for fear of stickers (some are super small) falling off into the crib and being a hazard for. Hopefully there is a way to get some money back or something. At this point we are going to have to trash it all. Can’t risk the safety concern knowing the stickers will fall off. Very disappointed.

I ordered these along with another set of monkeys hanging from vines for my son's nursery and I am SO pleased with how it all came together and turned out! My husband and I did this together in an evening while snowed it and had a lot of fun together doing it. He put the trunks together (and the vines from the monkeys) sine he can bend over more easily than me (I am 9 months pregnant) and he did an amazing job. It was not difficult for him to line things up either. I did the leaves and was worried there wouldn't be enough since we spaced our trees across two walls (rather than clumping them together as in the picture) but it looks good. I wouldn't want any fewer leaves, but honestly wouldn't want many more either- its really just right in my opinion. If you space the trees closer together you'll have plenty of leaves and can have some falling (which we opted not to do in service of bigger trees). One of my favorite parts of this motif is something I didn't even see when ordering- there is a tiny little squirrel on one of the trees and he is the cutest thing ever! Some reviews complained of smell- I have a super sniffer right now thanks to pregnancy hormones and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary (I honestly didn't go smelling the product though, because..why would I?) just taking it out of packaging there is a slight smell typical of something wrapped in plastic, but really what do you expect?? I am a lunatic over my baby's safety and was cognizant of the smell complaint. With those in mind AND with my super sniffer, I just don't see the concern.Another complaint I heard was that the product was coming off. It has only been a few weeks, but we cleaned our walls and let them dry thoroughly before applying the decals and I have no concern of anything coming off. The product did come with a clear adhesive film that we are guessing is for use over the decals if you want?? (there was no mention of the purpose of the clear adhesive film in the instructions), but we didn't see a need for it. Other than that, the instructions were pretty crappy, but not really needed- just clean your wall well, let it dry thoroughly, and follow the pictures- or get creative with it! We are not creative types (very analytical types) and that was my biggest fear in straying from the pictures the way we did, but honestly they turned out great and if we can do it, anyone can!

I ordered these for my guest bedroom for which I am thinking of doing a woods theme. I first wanted to hand paint all the birch trees but when I saw this on amazon which costs way more cheaper than any other birch tree decal I could find online, I though I'd give it a try rather than trying hand painting.This is my first time installing any decal or wallpaper. So, I took some time to plan everything before I set to work.I have a decent size room with 8 ft ceilings. On the wall which I wanted to put this up, I had a single window so I didn't want to have all the 5 trees. What I did is plan it out on paper first and get 4 trees out of 5. I used the extra tree to make the 6 ft trees taller about like 71/2 ft and also adjust the width accordingly to keep it consistent all across.That part took more time as I blue taped all the pieces together on to wall first without peeling to understand how it looks.Once, I got the picture I set off to peel the decal and stick it to the walls and I did it without any hassles.It was easy to work with and I did that all by myself. I also adjusted some trees width after I put it up on wall using a blade.It took 3-4 hrs to finish given I have a toddler who wanted to be part of the peel and stick process :). I let her do the leaves and she loved it.

These absolutely destroyed my wall. They tore off alllll the paint. I even tried heating with a hairdryer to help remove the glue but it tore all the paint of. It took 2 hours for my husband and I to remove. Now we’ve had to fill with putty, then will sand and paint. I highly recommend NOT putting these on your wall especially if you are in a rental like myself. I seriously cried 😭😭😭 (I attached photos of before we filled them and after to show how much of the area was damaged)
