I highly recommend and endorse this product! I live in a VERY HUMID state!! Between living just less than 15 minutes from the beach then add in the rainy season! And you have humidity that causes sweat to soak your shirt less than five minutes once outside!!Which is precisely the reason I purchased the rifle socks (I also purchased pistol socks as well), this product once placed over your firearm, prevents the humidity from effecting your firearms, thus prevents rust. Purchased for guns stored in safe. These are plenty long, i cut a few into 3 pieces, and stitched them up to make smaller ones. I just wanted to protect the barrels where they contacted the gun rest. Turned out great.I have seen negative reviews for using socks in storage due to moisture, but ive never had moisture issues before without socks.The foam in my safes was breaking down due to age. I found foam after i received the socks, and decided i would leave the socks in place anyway.

These Socks are wonderful for protecting my pistols. They are nice and thick so if nothing else I know they would at the very least they will provide cushioning and keep the pistols from scratching. Additionally, they are supposed to provide protection from moisture and rust. Between the breathability and wiking it looks as if these are really going to provide great storage and even protection when traveling. Like the fit and the drawstring makes sure that pistols do not drop out - as if that was easy.

I love these things! I have them for all my firearms. I have two problems with them though. The 12 inch model is too small for long barreled guns (7 in + lengths). They need to make a 15 or 20 inch model also. The long gun size is great for any gun that does not have a scope. Scoped guns are a VERY tight fit and I'm concerned about my scopes getting misaligned from the constant pressure. Need to make a model that is about 2-3 inches wider to accommodate scoped firearms.

Fits full size handguns with lights and optics no problem. Not too stretchy but just the right amount. I just got these so I can't speak to how well the silicon treatment will prevent corrosion but that doesn't mean much to me because I already have anti-corrosion bags over them inside the sock. I am mostly relying on these to prevent scratching and they should exceed at this.

Arrived quickly and fit all my hand guns, from a snub nosed .38 revolver, to full size 1911 .45s and even a . 44 civil war cap and ball revolver replica. Offers protection in the gun safe from weapons rubbing against each other. No complaints. Might not fit a broom handle Mauser but good for most typical hand gun styles.

Simple gun sock that I bought to project guns in safe. Like the description said, its not super saturated with silicon, but you can sorta feel it. For the price and what I need them for, it worked great for me.
