Marbles Single Bit Axe - MA700SB

Profile was way off had to reshape edge pretty heavily. Handle was properly hung and grain was correct however 'unfinished" would be an understatement. I don't mind touching up a handle but this was almost as though it didn't go through QA.This is a small camping hatchet maybe as long as a forearm and light. Used for hammering postings and clearing small trees and perhaps preparing light kindling. The steel seems to be good quality and the eyelet is proper. palm swell could be better.

This hatchet is extremely small. I thought this would be good for like back packing or just little camping things but I honestly think it's to small for that. The edge is so small that I honestly miss a lot. The handle is extremely thin. If you buy this for a kid with really small hands and they just want to learn how to use a hatchet and you want them to be safe the this is for you. For a man I can't use this. It really won't do any work for you. You will just be hitting and messing around instead of doing what you need to get done. Would only recommend for a small child and that's it. Lesson learned here. 4 stars because of the quality and -1 because of the price for how much is there. They have their other marbles hatchet (which I have) and it was cheaper then this and they used way more materials to make it.

Very good small hatchet. Requires some finishing if you like your hatchet nice. 5 minutes to sand handle, 10 minutes to sharpen. No big deal. Heads hung properly, grain of the handle is oriented correctly and materials are very good. Its no gransfors bruks, but what do you expect for $30? I would buy this one again without hesitation if i needed another small hatchet.

This is an awesome axe, I bought two. It's tiny, but perfect for heavier than knife tasks, but when you don't need a full weight axe. Would be an amazing defensive tool, needs a sheath desperately

It’s well made but very small and light. Might be what someone is looking for but not me. Not at $29+. $7-$12 and I would keep it for my 11 year old and very light duty or camping.

最初来た時は、すごく切れる感じはないが、切れる切れないは問題じゃない研げばよい。何処の斧でも使えば、研ぐことになる。扱いが良い物を選べば長く使えるし危険も少ない。これ最高！追伸これは、小さいです用途に応じて選びましょう。

作り等はちゃんとしています。薪割にについては、購入状態では使えません。しっかり研いでから使用して下さい。自分で研げない方は購入は控えてもっと高くて良い物を購入して下さい。自分は最初から自分で刃入れするつもりで購入していますので。あと、カバー付きなら星5だったのですが・・まっ、カバーも余っていた皮で作りました。それもナイフ・斧の楽しみの一つなんで。

手にとってまず感じたのは、軽くて小さいなと思いました。研ぐ前に使ってみましたが、中型のナイフで刃が入っていかなかった硬い枝をキレイに割ることができました。研ぎは軽くタッチアップする程度にしました。まだ本格的に使いこんでいないので刃持ちや、錆びの具合など分かりませんが、とても気に入ってます。一般的なキャンプやバーベキューならこのサイズでも大丈夫そうです。

新品箱出し状態では全く刃が付いていません。刃付け（シャープニングではなくグラインドから）ができる方でなければ使い物になりません。エッジカバーが附属しないので、運搬する場合は自作あるいは流用で適切なシースを別途準備する必要があります。刃付け、砥ぎ上げを適切に行えば、キャンプ場で販売している程度の薪であれば広葉樹が相手でも鉈より快適に割れます。

Don't buy this. It's useless. Lightweight, feels like it will break first time you use it. I returned the one I ordered, and their return policy is crap as well- only 50%. I'm still waiting for the credit. PASS on this one.

購入時は全然切れなかったが、砥いだらそれなりに使えるようになった。カバーとか欲しい。

初めての斧。箱出しですぐに使える。柄が25センチ、全長約29センチで軽く、座りながら、ぽんぽん薪を割れ、初心者でも使いやすい。女性にもオススメ。コスパも良くいい買物でした。

これはオモチャだね！(笑)カバーが無いのも、背中の部分サンダーがけしてるのが残念かな。

本製品に限らず手斧は格好がよいと思ったが、個人的には鉈のほうが使い勝手はよいと思った。また、次回買う機会があれば西洋のものより和ものを選びたいと思った。
