Perfect for dogs with occasional constipationn
Perfect for dogs (and adults) with occasional constipation too!I confirmed with our vet first who approved. Vets' go-to recommendation is usually canned pumpkin, which is a waste if have a small dog and is high sugar. Gerber single serving containers of natural butternut squash and pumpkin are perfect. They are much lower sugar (I don't want curing one condition to cause another like dog diabetes), higher quality, contain a much better water-to-fiber ratio for restoring digestive balance than canned pie filling, and make portion control easy.

The best prune baby food I have tried
I generally prefer organic, and plums are one of those fruits where it does matter, but this baby food is absolutely delicious. Gerber really takes the cake on this one. The flavor is great and the thick consistency is very satisfying. For point of comparison, I have purchased many times from Plum Organics and Beech-nut's organic and non-organic versions. All are acceptably good, but this one is much more enjoyable. It's honestly like a desert. And the small size combined with affordability means it's easy to get the right amount you need without any waste. I am saving up the clean plastic tubs to eventually send in to Gerber's mail in recycling program. For the most part I avoid their foods due to the heavy reliance on citric acid, ascorbic acid, and other additives that can be irritating to a delicate digestive system, but this particular item is my favorite among its competitors.

Good price
I bought these for my baby since he gets stopped up easy. It was cheaper than going to store buy a ton. He loves them. The price for the bundle is great. The date on them is good for a while which is also great! Recommend!

Could be thicker
These are very watery compared to the Gerber baby food we bought in South Africa. The Gerber baby food in South Africa was very thick and baby used to get full easily. But with these I need two tubs to fill her up, she is 9 months and normal weight. The taste is much better than the taste in South Africa though. Even I will take a bite from this, almost taste like soup, but with out the salt and spices.

Exactly what the baby needs
I'd fed prunes to my previous baby, but she was never a huge fan, and had no issues in producing poopy diapers every day. As soon as I added solid/baby food to my current baby's diet(still with plenty of my milk), she stopped having bowel movements. Poor baby would strain and grunt, and nothing.I bought this pack of prunes for immediate delivery, and set up a subscribe & save order. For the past 2 months, she has eaten prunes with every meal. It took almost two weeks to get a bowel movement, and then they would just come every few days. We've made it to the point where she has one on most days, without nearly so much straining. Much happier baby, much happier mom.(We had been so careful in introducing foods, and hadn't introduced any constipation foods. Even now, we don't give her the classic constipating foods, as I think her system is still trying to master processing solids.)At any rate, the price is better than the store. And during the grocery quantity restrictions of the pandemic, the stores were limiting the number of baby food jars we could buy, so I was grateful to be able to have a reliable source. So convenient to get the pack straight to the door. (It usually ships just in the cardboard Gerber pack like the store receives, no outer Amazon packaging.)Ilike having the smaller 2 oz. package, rather than the 4 oz. jar we have bought at the store. We go though them quickly, within a day, but it just means a smaller amount to refrigerate.A bit of irony, my toddler has decided she loves the prunes, and will beg for a bite when I'm feeding the baby.
