EI7200344 - Securi-T Hydrocolloid Skin Barrier Strips (30 Count)

This is the best skin barrier strips we have found anywhere. They really stick well and are a lifesaver for an ileostomy patient! Buy them, you will not regret it, on second pack and will buy again and again!

I ordered this product because a similar product I order through my insurance was on backorder so I got this one to hold me over. I use it as extra protection for one side my ostomy. The product itself is great quality, and at first I really liked it. But my skin started to get red, I think because it is really hard and painful to remove these strips. They really stick to the skin! Would maybe work better with some adhesive remover wipes, but I try to use minimal supplies and my insurance doesn't cover enough wipes for every bag change. Overall a good product, but one that wasn't for me.

I needed these because I ran out of my normal barriers. The price was right to get by untill my insurance paid for my regular brand. Have had lots of issues with these. First off they are hard to get off the paper, to the point I have torn some. The biggest problem is as soon as the come into contact with any kind of moisture the start to peel off your skin and a leak is soon after, and that is the last thing you want. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for the better quality barrier it is well worth it.

I use this product for patching up leaky stoma covers. These things work better than anything else I havetried. They are a bit expensive to buy how ever so if you can get our insurance company to pay for theneis better.Roger Linden

THEY WORKS REALLY GOOD AS STATED, HOWEVER, ON THE FLIP SIDE THE ISSUE IS WHEN YOUR TRYING TO REMOVE THE STIP FROM THE ADHESIVE PAPER ITS STUBBORN TO BE REMOVED. I HAD TO USE AND HAIR TWIZZERS TO PULL AWAY FROM THE ADHESIVE PART WITHOUT HAVING MY FINGER PRINT ON TAB SO IT CAN STICK WELL! BUT DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE THEM BUT ONLY GET AN DAY USAGE VERSE TWO-3 AT A MINIUMN SO IT CAN HOLD-

This product is use for Colostomy a very delicate procedure! IT seals the pouch that covers the colostomy.
