So yea, the only parts of this kit that I thought were okay were the fuel lines and maybe the primer bulb. The carb had different linkage than the original and the linkage hit the cover and made the throttle stick. I worked around that but the carb was just acting weird once it was all put together. Could not tune it and it would surge like crazy at idle. I ended up just taking apart my old carb, cleaning it out, and using it again. Works great now. The air filter did not fit well at all and had to be trimmed. The spark plug just looked cheap so I'm still running the old one. I may keep the cheapo plug around for emergencies. I thought this kit was too cheap to be true and I was right. Good thing the only things I really needed were the fuel lines.

it swaped out the old carb on my craftsman chainsaw with a perfect fit, saw started up and would not run right fiddled around with carb adjustment as seen on youtube but just couldnt get it dialed in. got really fustrated slammed the saw on the ground but not hard enough to break anything, left it alone for awhile then tried again, saw started to run better and with more adjustments its running better than new, good throttle response, lots of power, idles like a purring kitten. time will tell, but if you want to try to save money and try to repair your saw before dropping the bucks on something you will only use from time to time then this might be the ticket, might buy you some time to save up for something better
