Motorized Huffy Cranbrook beach cruiser
This item is a must have for motorized beach cruisers. It has the reach needed to go over the fender, and provides the essential stopping power. I put this one and the front caliper on mine, and recommend the dual cable brake lever so you don't end up with two levers on one handle bar. Don't trust that your rear coaster brake is going to do much of anything for you once your bike has a motor on it. In my location a bicycle must have both front and rear brakes to pass inspection to receive it's moped registration anyway. Technically the coaster brake is a rear brake, but this is a matter of safety. If you get the front brake, and don't get this rear caliper, expect to go over those handlebars sooner or later. If you are trusting your safety to the coaster brake only, well, good luck with that. Once the motor is on the bicycle, the coaster brake does little to nothing to provide adequate stopping power. One quick stop and your rear tire tread is gone. Don't take your chances, motorized bikes need front and rear hand brakes. Brakes are the most important part of any motor vehicle from a safety stand point. Oh, and if you build on the Huffy Cranbrook, take off the front fender, it's junk and will catch your front tire sooner or later. I left my rear fender on just to display the moped registration.

Excellent break, very good quality
Not an expert on bikes but appears to be very good quality! I was impressed by the weight and strength of the metal and brake components. I installed this on a 26" beach cruiser and it fit perfectly around the fender and wide tire. The pads also reached the metal rim with minor adjustment. Only thing I noticed was the right pad doesn't align perfectly parallel to the rim, so when the brake is activated the entire pad doesn't clamp down on the rim. I am going to look for other break pads, maybe I can adjust them to work better.

They're ok... Not a lot of stopping power.
Not sure if it's my steel rims or these brakes but I can't get them to stop my bike well. They work but barely. Regardless they're better than no brakes at all. I'm no expert but I'm pretty experienced with bicycles having owned well over 30 bicycles in my lifetime. I find these brakes on the weak side of the spectrum. But they work.... Barely....

Strong, with good stopping power.
Looks spindly but surprisingly strong and stops well despite the very long arms. Doesn't chatter. Only complaint (and that's minor) is that the very high position of the adjusting barrel can make the cable routing a little awkward. Excellent value.

Awesome fit
These fit great over my 2.125 fenders, also easy to install. I didn't have a rear mount so I had to drill one. All of the hardware was there to make it a success . I love them 😍

Good but front fork mounting bolt too short to install
Good quality but front mounting bolt was not long enough to fit all the way through fork so I could only mount the back brake.

Short stud
This brake works fine on my beach cruiser but the mounting stud is a bit short--I was barely able to get the nut on all the way.
